  American singer Bobbie Sharon was in London yesterday. She went to the Channel l6 TV studio, where she sang Sometimes, a song from her new album While she was waiting for a taxi outside the studio, she met I6-year-old Sam Parrish, who was two meters tall. "I am your biggest fan." said Parrish. "well, you’re my tallest fan" replied Sharon "Could I possibly have your autograph on my arm" asked Sam. "As you have asked me so nicely, "said Sharon," I’d be delighted to sign your arm."

  3.基本要求:

  (1)朗讀所給段落

  Teaching aims:

  After this lesson, students can know the difference between direct speech and indirect speech.

  Ability aim:

  Students can improve their writing ability and logic thinking.

  After this lesson, students can get the ability of changing direct speech into indirect speech.

  Students are able to get the confidence of learning English.

  Students are willing to write English article in their daily life.

  Key and difficult point:

  Key Point: students can know the difference between direct speech and indirect speech.

  Difficult Point: students can get the ability of changing direct speech into indirect speech.

  Teaching procedures:

  Step 1: Warming-up

  1. Greetings.

  2. Sing a song: The teacher sing a song named Single Lady. Then ask students if they have listened this song. Then tell students this song is every famous in America. The singer is who a famous American pop singer Beyoncé. Then tell them the content of this lesson is also about a singer.

  Step 2: Pre-writing

  1. Ask students to look at the screen and the teacher reads the passage and ask students “what is this small article mainly talk about?” Then let one student answer the question.

  2. Tell students this passage is about a conversation between a singer and her fan. Then let students to circle their words.

  3.Ask one student to come to front and write these sentences down on the blackboard. Then tell them these sentences called direct speech in grammar.

  4.Then let students try to relate these sentences as told by another. Then tell them this way called indirect speech.

  5.Tell students they should pay attention to the structure between these two forms.

  Don’t change the tense. Change into the object clause with “that”.

  6.Let them to collect some conjunction words or adverbials. They can use these words in their passage to make their works more logical.

  Step 3: While-writing

  1.Give students 15 minutes to rewrite this passage, they should change direct speech into indirect speech.

  2.When students are writing, correct their spelling and grammar.

  Step4: Post-writing

  1. Peer-editing: Ask students to check their passage with their deskmates.

  2. Sharing: Invite some students to share their works.

  3. Give the evaluation according to their works.

  Step5: Summary and Homework

  Summary: ask a student to conclude the content of the lesson and summarize with the whole class.

  Homework: improved their passage after class.

  Teaching is not only a choice of a career, but also the responsibility and sacrifice. Although being a teacher is tired and we can only get low salary, we can’t measure a job only with the money you can get.

  Firstly, teaching is really great and it’s very important to our country. When I help the students and see their progress, I feel proud.

  Secondly, I have the goal to be a teacher. We can meet a lot of challenges in teaching, such as the teaching methods, arrangement of students and dealing with all the problems. So, we need to learn more to enrich ourselves and care about all the students.

  At last, teaching is a relatively stable job, and we have summer holiday and winter holiday every year and this is the life style I want. No matter the salary is high or low, I will persist to my dream.

  2.In a writing lesson, which part do you think is the most important one and why?

  In a writing lesson, I think the most important part is the Presentation. Because the teacher should set a topic for the students. And show the correct way to search the material and let students know which kind of material is suitable for the certain topic. What’s more, if there is a certain structure in the writing lesson. The teacher also should explain the article structure in the presentation. With all above, the students can use their writing material to finish their writing task.
