1)主語(yǔ)+ be closely related to ....息息相關(guān) 

　　例如: Taking exercise is closely related tohealth. 

　　做運(yùn)動(dòng)與健康息息相關(guān)。  

　　2)主語(yǔ)+get into the habit of + V-ing =make it a rule to + V(養(yǎng)...的習(xí)慣) 

　　例如: We should get into the habit ofkeeping good hours. 

　　我們應(yīng)該養(yǎng)成早睡早起的習(xí)慣。  

　　3)What a+形容詞+名詞+主語(yǔ)+be!=How +形容詞+ a +名詞+ be!(多么....!) 

　　例如: What an important thing it is to keep our promise! = How important a thing it is to keep our promise! 

　　遵守諾言是多么重要的事啊!  

　　4)主語(yǔ)+ do good/ harm to sth. (對(duì)...有益/有害) 

　　例如: Reading does good to our mind. 

　　讀書對(duì)心靈有益。

　　5)主語(yǔ)+ have a great infuence on sth..(對(duì)...有很大的影響) 

　　例如: Smoking has a great influence onour health. 

　　抽煙對(duì)我們的健康有很大的影響。  

　　6)nothing can prevent us from doing... (沒(méi)有事情能夠阻擋我們做...) 

　　例如: All this shows that nothing canprevent us from reaching our aims. 

　　這顯示了沒(méi)有事情能夠阻擋我們實(shí)現(xiàn)目標(biāo)。  

　　7) Upon/On doing... ... ..... ..... 

　　例如: Upon / On hearing of the unexpected news, he was so surprised that he couldn't say a word.

　　 一聽(tīng)到這個(gè)出乎意料的消息，他驚訝到說(shuō)不出話來(lái)。

　　 注意:此句型一般可以改為如下復(fù)合句句型。 

　　例如:As soon as he heard of the unexpected news, he was so surprised that he ... 

　　他一聽(tīng)到這個(gè)出乎意料的消息，就如此驚訝以至于他... 

　　8) would rather do..than do...(寧愿...而不愿....) 

　　例如: I would rather walk home than takea crowded bus. 

　　我寧愿步行回家也不愿做擁擠的公交車。 

　　注意:此句型可以改為prefer to do..ratherthan do... 句型。

　　9)only +狀語(yǔ)，主句部分倒裝 

　　例如: Only then could the work of reconstruction begin. 

　　直到那時(shí)，重建工作才開(kāi)始。  

　　10) be worth doing (值得做) 

　　例如: The book is worth reading. 

　　這本書值得讀。
