　　Getting independence is an important part of our journey to adulthood. As for me, I am not so independent. I always ask my parents to help me with a lot of chores.

　　When I was a child, my parents always did a lot for me. They didn't encourage me to be independent. Once I wanted to help with the cooking, my mother said it would take me much time and get in the way of my study.

　　I think we teenagers should learn to be independent. it's better for us to solve our problems on our own. We may ask for our parents' advice, but not let them do it for us.
