John Brown, an office worker, lives in Washington, He inherited(繼承) $ 1,000, 000 when he was 23. He didn’t feel happy at all. His college friends were looking for their first jobs, but he didn’t have to. John decided to keep living a simple life like everyone else. It’s hard to make friends if you stay at home alone all the time. Get out of the house and do things that will put you in touch with(接觸) other people. It’s easier to make friends when you have similar interests.

Look at people in the eye when you talk to them. That way, they’ll find it easier to talk to you, or people may think you’re not interested in them and may stop being interested in you.
