2.用詞范圍 一篇文章或會(huì)話所采用的詞離不開主題。PETS五級(jí)聽力圍繞校園生活這一主題，就必然選用與學(xué)校、學(xué)習(xí)有關(guān)的特色詞匯和詞組。如大綱樣題中下列詞重復(fù)較多：attend a lecture, take a test, select a course, English proficiency, study for a deGREe, library, resource center, presentation, register, course enrollment等，考生把握住這一點(diǎn)，就可以做到心中有數(shù)，不再盲目了�！　�3.特定場(chǎng)景 既然PETS五級(jí)聽力從內(nèi)容上以校園生活為中心，那么所涉及的場(chǎng)景都是學(xué)校的主要場(chǎng)所，如：圖書館，教室，實(shí)驗(yàn)室，學(xué)生宿舍甚至食堂等。此外，難度比較大的恐怕是那些課堂上講授的或討論的內(nèi)容，上面提到的第四篇即屬于這一類，但一般說來(lái)屬于某一領(lǐng)域的普通知識(shí)，不會(huì)太專。當(dāng)然，如果考生知識(shí)面寬，興趣比較廣泛，這一部分也不會(huì)構(gòu)成太大障礙。
