　　結(jié)果狀語從句

　　(1)引導(dǎo)結(jié)果狀語從句的詞或詞組有：so, so that, so…that…, such…that。So that即可引導(dǎo)目的狀語從句又可引導(dǎo)結(jié)果狀語從句，一般講，表目的狀語從句有may, might, can, could出現(xiàn)，另外，表結(jié)果時，還可用that或so，它們相當于so that。如：

　　The train was so full that I could hardly turn around.

　　Mr. Smith had overslept so he was late for work.

　　She is such a nice girl that we all like her.

　　(2)so that和such that的區(qū)別

　　So為副詞，修飾動詞、副詞或形容詞，不能修飾名詞;such是形容詞，修飾名詞。

　　1)so+ adj.+ that從句，如：

　　The box is so heavy that I can’t carry it.

　　2)so+ adj.+ 冠詞+名次單數(shù)+that從句，如：

　　She is so beautiful a girl that all the boys of class like her.

　　3)so+ many/few/much/little+ n.+ that從句，如：

　　There is so little water that you can’t drink.

　　4)such+冠詞+ adj.+ 名次單數(shù)+ that從句，如：

　　She is such a good girl that she can help you.

　　[注意]little 譯作“小、可愛“時，常用such，如：

　　He is such a little boy that his parents often teach him something.
