2017年P(guān)ETS三級聽力心得技巧：因果關(guān)系題

　　因果關(guān)系題在聽力考試中是比較難的，

　　一是因為它的問題一般側(cè)重于對原因的考查，而原因往往在第一句就講完了，所以考生往往容易忽略并遺忘。

　　二是因為它的信號詞很少，一般需要全部聽完才能判斷這是一道因果關(guān)系題。

　　但無論如何，當聽力中出現(xiàn)一些因果關(guān)系引導詞時，我們就應該引起注意。請大家先熟悉這些因果關(guān)系引導詞和短語。

　　1. 表示因果關(guān)系的詞：because, as, for, since, that, hence, therefore, consequently, cause (v.), reason.

　　2. 表示因果關(guān)系的短語 due to, owing to, because of, thanks to, on account for, as a result, result from, result in, lead to, give rise to, contribute to, attribute to, now that, so that, so... that, such... that, in order to, in order that, be responsible for

　　分類一、明示因果關(guān)系題二、暗示因果關(guān)系題

　　例如：

　　M: The students' English club is having a party on Saturday night. Can you come?

　　W: I would like to. But I work at a restaurant at weekends.

　　Q：Why can't the woman go to the party.

　　提問類 對話中含有想知道原因的特殊疑問句

　　例如：Nancy, why were you late today?

　　I over slept and missed the bus

　　例如：What happen to you? You're so late.

　　The bus I took broken done in front of the hospital and I had to walk from there.

　　Q: Why was the woman so late? A: Something was wrong with the bus.

　　自成因果關(guān)系類

　　沒有信息提示，而因果關(guān)系突出。

　　例如：Why does the woman walk all the way to the office?

　　A. She takes it as a kind of exercise.

　　B. She wants to save money.

　　C. She loves doing anything that is new.

　　D. Her office isn't very far.

　　M: Hi, Susan. I hear that you walk all the way to the office these days.

　　W: Yes. I have found great pleasure in walking. That's the type of exercise I enjoy very much.

　　正確答案：A解題思路：雖然沒有直接的因果關(guān)系引導詞，但從女士談話中可以知道，她正在解釋她為什么步行上班 —— 步行是她喜歡的一種鍛煉方式。
