　　It is undeniable that adolescents ought to concentrate on all school disciplines in order to give them a broad option of occupations to choose later in life. While I concur with the assertion, I believe engaging in only one domain that teenagers are adept at will be a blessing to the learner. This essay intends to explore some reasons. Most people think that it is necessary for student to learn and pass all subjects taught in school whether they like the subject or not. Often young teenagers are in the state of finding their own identity and interest. By learning all subjects in school, teenagers are exposed to different types of knowledge. For instance, biology will teach human body, geography will tell about environment, math will deal with number etc. Hence, by learning all these different type of subjects, it may trigger a person’s interests over the subject and help to find one’s talent and passion. Additionally, there is naturally strong interconnection among subjects. For example, for a student majored in subject computer, learning mathematics and engineering should never be shippable, because the latter subjects build up fundamental theories, principles, formulas, models, and ways of calculating and testing, all of which are the pre-condition for studying computer programming. On the other hand however, after locating the suitable direction in education, it is better for students to dedicate themselves into the right subject that they are interested and talented in. By focusing only on the interested lesson, one has the ample time to improve the proficiency and work on the mistakes. Otherwise, if a student has to struggle in coping with the massive tasks and demands from several subjects, he or she is very likely to lose the concentration and get distracted seriously. This eventually, would not only waste the potential gifts of this student in certain field, but also harm the general motivation in studying. In summary, there will be continuing assertions on whether teenagers should learn all school disciplines or only specialize in one particular area. Some people believe that it is still required for teenagers to learn all subjects. As far as I am concerned, if the students have shown an interest over a certain curriculum, it is advisable to just absorb themselves and be an expert in that specific field.(383字)
