　　1) 減少化石能源的使用量與當(dāng)前社會能源需求增加的趨勢(energy demands are increasing in current society)不符(goes against)。這就意味著減少化石能源的使用將會破壞現(xiàn)目前平衡的社會秩序(maintain a well-balanced social order)。

　　2) 其次，替代能源的缺乏(the lack of alternative energy resources)使得減少化石能源的使用不太現(xiàn)實(shí)。
