13.Why do some people learn dancing ?

14.Do you think there are any advantages for young people to learn to dance?

        話題A:

1.Yes, I really enjoy dancing. It's one of my favourite activities. Ever since I was a little child, I liked to watch people dancing, and now I often attend school balls. It just makes me feel so happy and free and gives me a chance to express myself artistically.

2.Well, you know, in university there are dance classes that you can attend. The dance instructor that I had was very nice and showed a lot of patience with me, because at that time I felt like I had “two left feet”, if you know what I mean. So he really helped me to have more confidence in not just dancing but also in other aspects of my life. I really miss him.

3.China has a lot of traditional dances. There are as many traditional dances in China as there are many ethnic minorities. For example, Er Ren Zhuan is a typical local folk dance from Northeast China. It usually consists of two people, a man and a woman. They sing as well as dance, using folded fans during the dancing portion.

4.Not really. In terms of preferences to dancing, there is really a gap between different age groups. Most old people still like Chinese traditional dancing, because it helps them remember the old times. Young people prefer modern dancing or street dance, which can satisfy young people’s taste.

5.I think there is a place for it in the future, but I am not sure how popular it will be. It would be a pity to me if we didn't preserve our dances and culture because it is so unique, but how all this will play out in the future I am just not sure.

6.Yes, cos the dancing gestures and postures are sometimes really tough to learn well. Good dance requires really high flexibility.

7.I don’t form a routine. I dance on an irregular basis, say, when I’m happy, I’d dance quite often.

8.I would consider it. It makes me fit and helps to cultivate femininity.

9.Personally, we would like to dance in the ball or for the older people, in the park, like the square dancing.

10.Yes,I did. I've been dancing since I was little. My dream was to be a dancer at that time. And I usually I danced for my family entertainment, or for school performance.

11.Actually, I'm mot good at dancing. So dancing in public would make me feel embarrassed.

12.Yesterday I went to a party and danced like a freak.

13.Last month, I watched a dance performance performed by the campus dancing clubs. I enjoy watching dancing performances because I find it very inspiring and interesting when the dancers express their talent.

14.Because it is inspiring and it is also a good workout. Any form of good fast movement is good for calorie burning. Dancing not only allows you to have a nice figure but also trains your flexibility.

15.Yes, I think dancing has many advantages. Nowadays, dancing is really popular in China now because youngsters think dancing is graceful and can keep them fit and keep their body in shape. And for old people, they think dancing is beneficial for health, so you can see that everyday, there are many old people dancing in the parks or on the squares.
