This phenomenon has aroused wide attention.

　　The following reasons can account for college students’ preference for famous brands. Above all, in many college students’ eyes, a famous brand is a symbol of high taste. They expect others to admire their high social status and taste. What’s more, in modern society, famous brands to some extent are equal to fashion, which has a great attraction to young college students. Besides, parents’ indulgence is a critical reason for their bad consumption habit.
