　　Science and technology have brought human beings tremendous benefits. Thanks to the development of science and technology, we now live comfortably and conveniently; we can eat fresh vegetables all the year round; we can travel long distance in a short time, etc.

　　However, science and technology have also brought us a lot of disasters. First, with the development of medicine, people are now living much longer, which caused the increase of population. The wastes from factories caused pollution of all kinds. What’s more, some terrorists are using biological, chemical and unclear weapons to threaten the world peace.

　　So, it’s urgent that we find ways to solve these problems. But I don’t think we should stop the development of science and technology. Instead, we should make some rules to regulate people’s actions. As long as we use science and technology in a proper way, they may bring us more benefits.

　　科學技術(shù)給人類帶來了巨大利益。正是因為有了科學技術(shù)的發(fā)展，我們生活得舒適方便， 常年都能吃到新鮮蔬菜，可以在短時間內(nèi)去很遠的地方。

　　但是，科學技術(shù)也給我們帶來了很多災難。首先，由于醫(yī)學的發(fā)展，人們現(xiàn)在的壽命比以前長了很多。因此，世界人口不斷增加。工廠的廢物造成各種污染。而且，一些恐怖分子正利用生物、化學武器和不明武器來威脅世界和平。
