　　Pipe是“煙斗”的意思，引申為“鴉片”的意思，那么pipe dream則是形容鴉片上癮者陷入幻覺的狀態(tài)。Pipe dream與鴉片沒有任何瓜葛，而是用來指代“白日夢、幻想、空想‘知心妄想或一場春夢”。
