出國留學，一般指一個人到另一個國家繼續(xù)接受教育的行為。出國留學能夠豐富知識、開闊視野，同時也可以培養(yǎng)人的獨立性。如今，中國已成為世界上最大的留學生生源國(source country),從1978年至2012年, 中國的留學生大約有265萬人。而且未來每年將以30%的速度繼續(xù)增長。很多中國人擔心這種持續(xù)的留學熱會造成人才流失(brain drain)。但更多的人對此持樂觀態(tài)度，認為隨著全球化的推進，留學生將成為外國人了解中國的窗口，并在一定程度上有助于宣傳中國的文化。

　　Generally speaking, studying abroad refers to the act of pursuing education in another country. Studying abroad can not only enrich people's knowledge and broaden their horizons but also cultivate their independence. Nowadays, China has already become the largest source country of overseas students. The number approximately reached 2.65 million from 1978 to 2012 and would increase continuously with a speed of 30% each year in the future. Many Chinese are worried about the continuous craze, for it may lead to brain drain. However, more people hold an optimistic attitude towards it, believing that with the development of globalization, these overseas students could serve as a window for foreigners to learn more about China and help publicize Chinese culture to some extent.
