　　The Foreigner’s Permanent Residence Card, commonly referred to as the Chinese green card, is a legal identity document issued to a foreigner who has the right to stay permanently within the borders of the People’s Republic of China. There is no limit on the duration of stay in China for the card holders. They also do not need to obtain a visa to come to China. They can simply enter and exit the borders using their passport and green card. The Chinese green card was officially adopted on August 15, 2004.
