China's environment further improved last year, according to an official report on the environmental conditions and the achievement of environmental protection objectives in 2021.

國(guó)務(wù)院關(guān)于2021年度環(huán)境狀況和環(huán)境保護(hù)目標(biāo)完成情況的報(bào)告顯示，2021年，全國(guó)生態(tài)環(huán)境質(zhì)量明顯改善。

Last year, the percentage of days with good air quality was 87.5 percent in cities at and above the prefecture-level, up 0.5 percentage points year on year, the report said, which was submitted on Monday to the National People's Congress Standing Committee for review.

18日，十三屆全國(guó)人大 常委會(huì)第三十四次會(huì)議聽(tīng)取國(guó)務(wù)院關(guān)于2021年度環(huán)境狀況和環(huán)境保護(hù)目標(biāo)完成情況的報(bào)告。報(bào)告指出，2021年，全國(guó)空氣質(zhì)量持續(xù)向好。地級(jí)及以上城市空氣質(zhì)量?jī)?yōu)良天數(shù)比率為87.5%，同比上升0.5個(gè)百分點(diǎn)。

The average concentration of hazardous airborne particles PM2.5 was 30 micrograms per cubic meter, down 9.1 percent year on year, according to the report.

細(xì)顆粒物(PM2.5)平均濃度為30微克/立方米，同比下降9.1%。

The proportion of surface water at or above Grade III in the country's five-tier water quality system increased 1.5 percentage points year on year to 84.9 percent in 2021, the report said. Meanwhile, the proportion of surface water below Grade V, the lowest level, stood at 1.2 percent, the report added.

2021年，我國(guó)地表水Ⅰ—Ⅲ類水質(zhì)斷面比例為84.9%，與2020年相比上升1.5個(gè)百分點(diǎn);劣Ⅴ類水質(zhì)斷面比例為1.2%。

In 2022, more efforts will be made to eliminate heavily polluted weather, control ozone pollution and diesel truck pollution, protect the Yangtze River and the Yellow River, carry out comprehensive treatment of key marine areas, and map the sewage outlets and control the discharge of pollutants, the report said.

報(bào)告指出，2022年，要組織實(shí)施重污染天氣消除、臭氧污染防治、柴油貨車污染治理等標(biāo)志性戰(zhàn)役;組織實(shí)施城市黑臭水體治理、長(zhǎng)江保護(hù)修復(fù)、黃河生態(tài)保護(hù)治理、重點(diǎn)海域綜合治理等標(biāo)志性戰(zhàn)役，持續(xù)開(kāi)展排污口排查整治
