　　A: This year the issue at the top of the agenda is plastic. From grocery bags to plastic straws to tiny micro-beads in everything from soap to make-up, the earth is swamped in plastic, and will remain so for generations to come. So what can be done? What is the scale of our plastic problem?

　　A: In the foreseeable future, are there any technologies on the horizon that might be good substitutes for plastic that might be less harmful to the planet in the long term?

　　B:我們現(xiàn)在正在研制聚合物材料。當(dāng)然了，有些材料仍然要進(jìn)行妥善的廢物流管理， 但我認(rèn)為，材料和產(chǎn)品設(shè)計(jì)的創(chuàng)新是至關(guān)重要的。
