　　Air quality in Beijing continued to improve in 2019 as the municipality intensified efforts to prevent and control air pollution, according to a communique released by the Beijing Municipal Ecology and Environment Bureau on April 27.

　　Beijing actively advanced international exchanges and cooperation and shared green development experience on multiple platforms in 2019.

　　4月27日，北京市生態(tài)環(huán)境局發(fā)布的公報(bào)顯示，隨著大氣污染防治工作的深入開(kāi)展，2019年北京市空氣質(zhì)量持續(xù)改善。

　　2019年，北京市積極推進(jìn)國(guó)際交流與合作，多平臺(tái)分享綠色發(fā)展經(jīng)驗(yàn)。

　　Coronavirus has been detected on particles of air pollution by scientists investigating whether this could enable it to be carried over longer distances and increase the number of people infected.

　　The work is preliminary and it is not yet known if the virus remains viable on pollution particles and in sufficient quantity to cause disease.

　　科學(xué)家日前在空氣污染物顆粒上發(fā)現(xiàn)了新冠病毒，他們正在研究，這是否能使病毒傳播得更遠(yuǎn)，并增加感染人數(shù)。

　　這項(xiàng)研究還處于初步階段，目前還不清楚新冠病毒是否能在污染顆粒上存活，以及病毒數(shù)量是否足以致病。

　　二維碼溯源垃圾袋

　　The Shaojiu residential community in Dongcheng District of Beijing on May 17 started a fine management project of household waste.

　　Various measures including installing intelligent garbage bins, providing garbage bags imprinted traceable and different QR codes to households and garbage sorting-themed games were taken to help residents better engage in garbage sorting and raise awareness for environmental protection.

　　5月17日，北京市東城區(qū)韶九社區(qū)啟動(dòng)生活垃圾精細(xì)化管理項(xiàng)目。

　　項(xiàng)目通過(guò)在試點(diǎn)小區(qū)內(nèi)設(shè)置智能分類垃圾桶、發(fā)放二維碼溯源垃圾袋和舉辦以垃圾分類為主題的趣味游戲等方式，引導(dǎo)社區(qū)居民更好地參與垃圾分類，提高環(huán)保意識(shí)。

　　Chinese researchers have developed a high-resolution digital soil atlas for the whole country, which will play an important role in arable land conservation, pollution control and environmental quality assessment.

　　中國(guó)研究人員建成覆蓋全國(guó)的“高精度數(shù)字土壤”。“高精度數(shù)字土壤”將在耕地保護(hù)、污染控制和環(huán)境質(zhì)量評(píng)估等方面發(fā)揮重要作用。
