　　She’d kill people with kindness.

　　9.樂意take kindly to

　　看來她不樂意接受我們的建議

　　She didn’t seem to take kindly to our suggestions.

　　10.頂牛be at loggerheads

　　他們倆經(jīng)常為某些事頂牛兒。

　　The two of them are always at loggerheads.

　　(此語源于中世紀得“潑柏油戰(zhàn)法”。據(jù)說loggerhead是中世紀人們用來熔解柏油的用具。在海戰(zhàn)中，敵對的兩只船相互用loggerhead潑柏油)
