Graduates prefer to stay

　　Fewer graduates from China's top two universities-Tsinghua University and Peking University-have chosen to continue their education abroad in recent years, according to data from the two institutions.

　　清華大學(xué)和北京大學(xué)的數(shù)據(jù)顯示，近年來(lái)，中國(guó)兩所頂 尖大學(xué)的畢業(yè)生選擇出國(guó)留學(xué)的人數(shù)有所減少。

　　Tsinghua University said 15.3 percent of last year's graduates went abroad to study, down 1.2 percentage points from 2018 and 1.7 percentage points from 2017. It added the figure has continued to fall this year.

　　清華大學(xué)稱，去年15.3%的畢業(yè)生選擇出國(guó)留學(xué)，分別比2018年和2017年下降1.2和1.7個(gè)百分點(diǎn)，今年的出國(guó)留學(xué)人數(shù)繼續(xù)下降。

　　In addition, 29 percent of last year's graduates have chosen to continue their studies at domestic universities and research institutes, compared with 28.5 percent in 2018 and 2017.

　　與此同時(shí)，去年29%的清華大學(xué)畢業(yè)生選擇在國(guó)內(nèi)大學(xué)和研究機(jī)構(gòu)繼續(xù)深造，而在2018年和2017年這一比例均為28.5%。

　　Data from Peking University showed a similar trend, with fewer graduates choosing to continue their studies abroad.

　　北京大學(xué)的數(shù)據(jù)也顯示了類似的趨勢(shì)，選擇出國(guó)留學(xué)的畢業(yè)生越來(lái)越少。

　　Last year, 14.8 percent of graduates from the university chose to study abroad after their graduation, down from 15.2 percent in 2018 and 15.6 percent in 2017.

　　去年，有14.8%的北京大學(xué)畢業(yè)生選擇出國(guó)留學(xué)，低于2018年的15.2%和2017年的15.6%。
