馮玉祥當(dāng)河南督軍時(shí)，開(kāi)封社會(huì)秩序混亂。馮玉祥規(guī)定夜里戒嚴(yán)，發(fā)現(xiàn)閑人，押解到警備營(yíng)里審問(wèn)。

　　When Feng Yuxiang was the Henna Warlord, Kaifeng was in a state of disorder. Feng make a rule that people should not go out at night, and once was found, he should be sent to the guard camp and be integrated.

　　一天晚上，馮玉祥獨(dú)自外出巡查，走到州橋，把外衣一脫，鋪在橋板上睡下了。一個(gè)在這兒放哨的哨兵走上前去，踢了他一腳。馮玉祥裝迷糊說(shuō)：“你踢我干啥?”這個(gè)士兵一看他還是個(gè)軍人，更火兒，用槍狠狠地?fù)v了他兩下說(shuō)：“你身為軍人，為啥不守軍紀(jì)，睡到大街上?走，跟我到警備營(yíng)去!”馮玉祥順從地給押走了。剛走了不多遠(yuǎn)，巡邏的連長(zhǎng)帶幾個(gè)兵迎面過(guò)來(lái)了，到跟前一看哨兵押的是馮督軍，把哨兵訓(xùn)了一頓。馮玉祥笑著走開(kāi)了。

　　One night, Feng went his rounds alone. When walked to the Zhou Bridge, he took off his overcoat and put it on the bridge to sleep. A sentinel guarding here walked to Feng and gave him a kick. Feng feigned in a daze and said: “Why did you kick me?” The soldier found he was a soldier and become more angrier. So he poked him with gun and said: “As a soldier, why do you sleep on the street, and don’t obey the military discipline? Go, follow me to the camp! Feng was taken to the camp obediently. Just have walked several steps, the guarding company commander walked from the other side with several soldiers, and found Feng was been sending under escort. Then the commander criticized the sentinel. Feng walked away with smile.

　　第二天上午，那個(gè)連長(zhǎng)把夜里押送馮督軍的士兵五花大綁送到司令部，向馮玉祥稟報(bào)說(shuō)：“他瞎了眼，昨天晚上竟打了督軍，請(qǐng)按軍法處置他!”馮玉祥嘿嘿一笑說(shuō)：“不是他瞎了眼，而是你眼瞎了。讓我處置，好吧，先把他松綁。我命令你，把軍服軍帽脫下來(lái)，給他換換!從現(xiàn)在起，他就是連長(zhǎng)，你是他手下的士兵�！�

　　The next morning, the company commander sent the sentinel to the headquarters, and reported to Feng: “He was so stupid that he beat you last night. Please punish him according to the military law!” Feng grinned: “The man who was stupid was not him, but you. I will punish you. Ok, untie him. I order you to take off your service uniform and cap, and give them to him. And you will have his uniform and cap. From now on, he is the company commander; and you are a soldier at his service.
