Yangtze River Delta

　　Three decades ago, the CPC leadership stressed taking Pudong's development and opening-up as a lead to further open up cities along the Yangtze River and building Shanghai into an international economic, financial and trade center as soon as possible to drive new economic leaps in the Yangtze River Delta and the entire Yangtze River Basin.

　　The achievements of Pudong over the past 30 years offer the most telling evidence of the strength of the system of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and are a vivid demonstration of the country's reform, opening-up and socialist modernization.

　　30年前，黨中央強調以上海浦東開發(fā)開放為龍頭，進一步開放長江沿岸城市，盡快把上海建成國際經濟、金融、貿易中心之一，帶動長江三角洲和整個長江流域地區(qū)經濟的新飛躍。

　　浦東開發(fā)開放30年取得的顯著成就，為中國特色社會主義制度優(yōu)勢提供了最鮮活的現實明證，為改革開放和社會主義現代化建設提供了最生動的實踐寫照。
