coordinated regional development

　　China will advance coordinated regional development and a new type of urbanization. Efforts will be made to create a new situation in developing the country's western regions, achieve new breakthroughs in revitalizing the northeastern regions, accelerate the rise of central regions, and encourage eastern regions to accelerate the process of modernization.

　　A new type of urbanization that puts people at the core will be advanced. China will promote urban ecological restoration and functional improvement projects, coordinate urban planning, construction and management, rationally set the size, population density and spatial structure of cities, and promote the coordinated development of cities and small towns.

　　中國將推進(jìn)區(qū)域協(xié)調(diào)發(fā)展和新型城鎮(zhèn)化。推動(dòng)西部大開發(fā)形成新格局，推動(dòng)?xùn)|北振興取得新突 破，促進(jìn)中部地區(qū)加快崛起，鼓勵(lì)東部地區(qū)加快推進(jìn)現(xiàn)代化。

　　中國將推進(jìn)以人為核 心的新型城鎮(zhèn)化。推進(jìn)城市生態(tài)修復(fù)、功能完善工程，統(tǒng)籌城市規(guī)劃、建設(shè)、管理，合理確定城市規(guī)模、人口密度、空間結(jié)構(gòu)，促進(jìn)大中小城市和小城鎮(zhèn)協(xié)調(diào)發(fā)展。
