The wide reach of tourism into many sectors, from infrastructure and energy to transport and sanitation, and its huge impact on job creation, make it a vital contributor to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. At the same time, tourism plays a pivotal role in advancing cultural understanding and bringing people together.
旅游業(yè)廣泛涉及能源、運輸、基礎設施、環(huán)境衛(wèi)生等許多部門，有助于創(chuàng)造大量就業(yè)機會，因此成為《2030年可持續(xù)發(fā)展議程》的重要貢獻者。同時，旅游業(yè)在增進文化理解、促進民眾融合方面起著舉足輕重的作用。
Yet tourism needs innovation in technology to realize its potential contributions. Its benefits need to flow to host communities. Governments can help to connect startups with investors to facilitate innovation, entrepreneurship, employmentand a truly inclusive tourism sector.
但是，旅游業(yè)需要技術創(chuàng)新來實現(xiàn)其潛在貢獻。旅游業(yè)的利益應該惠及當地社區(qū)。政府可以幫助初創(chuàng)企業(yè)與投資者建立聯(lián)系，以此促進創(chuàng)新、創(chuàng)業(yè)和就業(yè)，推動真正包容的旅游部門的發(fā)展。
Digital technologies have brought positive momentum to societies and economies around the world. They have connected us on a global level, helped to empower the most vulnerable and become our crucial allies for sustainable development. Our challenge is to continue harnessing this power for good while safeguarding against the risks.
數字技術給世界各地的社會和經濟創(chuàng)造了積極勢頭。數字技術把世界各國人民聯(lián)系在一起，幫助最弱勢群體增強權能，并成為我們可持續(xù)發(fā)展的重要依靠力量。我們所面臨的挑戰(zhàn)是，在防范風險的同時，繼續(xù)善用這種力量。
I call on governments to support digital technologies that can transform the way we travel, reduce the ecological burden of tourism and bring the benefits of tourism to all.
我呼吁各國政府支持數字技術。數字技術可以改變我們的旅行方式，減輕旅游業(yè)的生態(tài)負擔，并使各國人民同享旅游業(yè)帶來的惠益。
