《瑪納斯》是柯爾克孜族民間傳唱的英雄史詩，也是中國三大史詩之一，其篇幅宏大，被族人及周邊的中亞民族傳唱千年。它產(chǎn)生于公元10世紀(jì)，形成于13世紀(jì)。全詩共分八部，長達(dá)二十三萬余行。它是世世代代口頭傳唱的民間文學(xué)作 品，其中折射了柯爾克孜族人民歷史發(fā)展的足跡�！冬敿{斯》不僅是一部藝術(shù)珍品，而且是一部研究柯爾克孜族歷史文化、生活習(xí)俗、宗教信仰、社會經(jīng)濟(jì)、家庭婚 姻、音樂美術(shù)、語言文字等內(nèi)容的一部大百科全書。《瑪納斯》于2009年9月成功入選《人類非物質(zhì)文化遺產(chǎn)代表作名錄》。
Manas epic
Manas epic, as one of the three major epics of China, is the poem of the Kirgiz ethnic minority in China. The epic began its initial phase in the 10th century, and developed in the 13th century. The grand poem, with eight chapters, and a length of over 230,000 lines, has been spread and sung by the Kirgiz in China and the neighboring Central Asian countries for over a thousand years. As popular literature that passed down from generation to generation, Manas is not only an outstanding artistic creation, but also a reflection of the Kirgiz history. In fact, it is an oral encyclopedia of the Kirgiz, which records their history, culture, living customs and traditions, religious beliefs, social and economic lives, family and marriage, music and the fine arts, as well as languages, among others. In September 2009, Manas epic tradition was successfully classified in the Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in September 2009.
