　　歷史上的商業(yè)通道——絲綢之路，作為人文社會(huì)的交往平臺(tái)，多民族、多種族、多宗教、多文化在此交匯融合。千百年來(lái)，絲綢之路承載的和平合作、開(kāi)放包容、互學(xué)互鑒、互利共贏精神薪火相傳。中國(guó)與絲綢之路沿線國(guó)家在維護(hù)民族尊嚴(yán)、捍衛(wèi)國(guó)家主權(quán)的斗爭(zhēng)中相互支持，在探索發(fā)展道路、實(shí)現(xiàn)民族振興的道路上相互幫助，在深化人文交流、繁榮民族文化的事業(yè)中相互借鑒。

　　主席提議，新時(shí)期弘揚(yáng)絲綢之路精神，就是要促進(jìn)文明互鑒、尊重道路選擇、堅(jiān)持合作共贏、倡導(dǎo)對(duì)話和平。

Spirit of the Silk Road

　　The historical trade route known as the Silk Road was also a platform for people-to-people and cultural exchanges, where various ethnic groups, races, religions and cultures met and assimilated with each other. For hundreds of years, the spirit of the Silk Road, namely, peace and cooperation, openness and inclusiveness, mutual learning and mutual benefit, has been passed down through generations. China and other countries located along the Silk Road have supported each other in maintaining national dignity and safeguarding state sovereignty, helped each other in exploring development paths and achieving national rejuvenation, and learned from each other in deepening people-to-people and cultural exchanges and revitalizing national cultures.

　　President said that to promote the Silk Road spirit in the new era means boosting mutual learning between civilizations, respecting each other's development paths, maintaining win-win cooperation and advocating dialogue and peace.
